The Prospecting Sluice is a compact, modular sluice box designed for efficient fine gold recovery while remaining lightweight and easy to transport. Its modular construction allows the sluice to be quickly assembled and disassembled in the field, making it an excellent choice for prospectors who value portability and convenience.

Each sluice section is joined using dovetail locking cleats, creating a strong and secure connection. Once the cleats are fully inserted, the sections are locked together using standard M6 hardware, allowing the sluice to be assembled or packed away in just a few minutes.

Manufactured using durable, UV-resistant PETG, the Prospecting Sluice is designed to withstand repeated outdoor use while remaining lightweight enough to carry on extended prospecting trips.

Assembly Hardware Required

The following hardware is required for assembly and is not included:

• M6 × 20mm cap screws

• M6 wing nuts

• M6 washers

To assemble, slide the dovetail locking cleats underneath the two adjoining sluice sections until fully seated. Insert the M6 cap screw from the inside of the sluice, fit a washer and secure with an M6 wing nut on the outside. Once familiar with the system, assembly can be completed quickly in the field without specialised tools.
